We are committed to enhancing the health and wellbeing of individuals through mindfulness and want to share this knowledge and skill with others.
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally. This kind of attention nurtures greater awareness, clarity, and acceptance of the present-moment reality. It wakes us up to the fact that our lives unfold only in moments. If we are not fully present for many of those moments, we may not only miss what is most valuable in our lives but also fail to realize the richness and the depth of our possibilities for growth and transformation (Jon Kabat-Zinn).
Our 6 Week Mindfulness Program
Like it or not, this moment is all we really have to work with (Jon Kabat-Zinn).
Every second Wednesday we hold an open door Mindfulness Program. Anyone is welcome to join these peaceful and rewarding sessions. During the sessions we teach the skills of mindfulness and engage in practice. The new program is starting soon.
While we have great Apps available for mindfulness these days the experience of communal, living mindfulness is a powerful and profound experience.
Cost: If you attend on a MHCP the program is bulk billed (no cost to you). If you attend privately the cost is $25 per session (cash or +2% trans fee).
